PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of suppressing lateral leakage in a central region while ensuring fitability to an excretion opening in a region sandwiched by bent base points. SOLUTION: The absorbent article is arranged in a central region facing a wearer's excretory opening, a rear region located on the rear side of the central region, a front region located on the front side of the central region, and a central region. An absorbent core and a skin surface sheet located on the skin surface side of the absorbent core, and a pair of folding base points extending in the front-rear direction with the center in the width direction of the absorbent article provided in the central region. The maximum width of the absorbent core in the central region is longer than the maximum width of the absorbent core in the front region, the outer edge of the absorbent core is located outside in the width direction than the folding base point portion, and the central region is the center. The width of the outer edge of the absorbent core and the folding base point portion in the central center portion has a central center portion including the center in the front-rear direction in the region, and a central end portion located outside the central center portion in the front-rear direction.
