Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (2) zur Behandlung des Karpaltunnelsyndroms einer Hand einer Person, die eine Palmarseite mit Thenar- und Hypothenar-Regionen und eine Dorsalseite gegenüber der Palmarseite aufweist. Die Handmanschette (1) zeigt im Querschnitt ein C-Profil, wobei zwei Enden des C-förmigen Profils der Handmanschette (1) die Manschettenöffnung (1a) bilden. Die Handmanschette (1) ist aus zwei oder mehr Manschettenteilen (3) gebildet, wobei diese Manschettenteile (3) im Querschnitt ein C-förmiges Profil aufweisen und miteinander mittels eines Verbindungselementes (4) zu der Handmanschette (1) verbunden sind. Die Manschettenteile (3) sind mittels des Verbindungselementes bevorzugt verschieblich und lösbar so miteinander verbunden, dass die Breite der Manschettenöffnung (1a) für jeden Patienten individuell angepasst werden kann.
