PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement detection program accurately and easily detecting the amount of a users movement, and a movement detector.SOLUTION: The movement detection program for use in the detection of the amount of the users movement is practiced in a computer which comprises a storage portion and an arithmetic processing portion. In the storage portion, a determination table, which represents the characteristics of an output signal from an acceleration sensor, is stored for each direction of the users movement with respect to the direction of the users body and each state of the users movement.
