In some embodiments, the device may include a cart for a surgical robot arm having a coupler releasably coupleable to an engagement site on a surgical table. The cart may include a base and a first engagement feature. The base may be freely movable on a support surface between a first point remote from the surgery table and a second point adjacent the surgery table. The first engagement feature may be configured to engage a second engagement feature associated with the surgery table such that when the first engagement feature and the second engagement feature are engaged, the coupler of the robot arm is engaged by the coupler of the surgery table.
