PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double bearing type reel for fishing capable of incorporating a compact brake mechanism which can regulate axial movement of a spool shaft, apply brake force to a spool side in a feeding state of a fishing line, and release the brake force in a winding state of the fishing line.SOLUTION: A double bearing type reel for fishing comprises a spool brake mechanism 70 which applies brake force to rotation of a spool shaft 5 rotating integrally with a spool 6 by rotation operation of an adjustment member 60 provided on a support part 3ba of a reel body 1. The spool brake mechanism 70 comprises: a part 70B to be braked by friction provided inside the adjustment member 60； and a friction brake part 70A approaching to and separating from the part 70B to be braked by friction to perform control to turn on/off brake force to the spool shaft 5. An axial regulation part 62 for regulating axial movement of the spool shaft 5 is provided inside the adjustment member 60, and the part 70B to be braked by friction is provided outside in a radial direction of the axial regulation part 62.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT【課題】スプール軸の軸方向の動きを規制しつつ、釣糸繰り出し状態でスプール側に制動力を付与するとともにその制動力を釣糸巻き取り状態で解除できる制動機構をコンパクトに組み込むことができる魚釣用両軸受型リールを提供する。【解決手段】本発明の魚釣用両軸受型リールは、リール本体１の支持部３ｂａに設けられる調節部材６０の回転操作によってスプール６と一体回転するスプール軸５の回転に制動力を付与するスプール制動機構７０を有する。スプール制動機構７０は、調節部材６０の内方に設けられる被摩擦制動部７０Ｂと、被摩擦制動部７０Ｂに対して接離してスプール軸５に対する制動力をＯＮ／ＯＦＦ制御する摩擦制動部７０Ａとを有する。スプール軸５の軸方向の移動を規制する軸方向規制部６２が調節部材６０の内方に設けられ、軸方向規制部６２の径方向外側に被摩擦制動部７０Ｂが設けられる。【選択図】 図３
