PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION TO PROTECT AN ANIMAL AGAINST A DISORDER ARISING FROM AN INFECTION WITH A BACTERIUM THAT BELONGS TO THE GROUP OF NOCARDIOFORM ACTINOMYCETES
The invention pertains to a pharmaceutical composition to protect an animal against a disorder arising from an infection with a bacterium that belongs to the group of nocardioform actinomycetes having the ability to survive within macrophages of the animal, comprising live bacteria of a nocardioform actinomycetes species, the live bacteria being attenuated by inactivation of a gene that encodes a protein involved in methylhexahydroindanedione propionate degradation, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier for these live bacteria.Linvention porte sur une composition pharmaceutique destinée à protéger un animal contre un trouble causé par une infection par une bactérie qui appartient au groupe des actinomycètes nocardioformes ayant la capacité de survivre dans des macrophages de lanimal, comprenant des bactéries vivantes de lespèce actinomycète nocardioforme, les bactéries vivantes étant atténuées par linactivation dun gène codant pour une protéine impliquée dans la dégradation du propionate de méthylhexahydroindanedione, et un vecteur pharmaceutiquement acceptable pour ces bactéries vivantes.
