PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make medical treatment-related apparatuses communicate with each other via a network without performing prior setting work.SOLUTION: In this network management system wherein a management server 10 and the medical treatment-related apparatuses such as an HIS (Hospital Information System) 20, PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) 30, and an endoscope device 60 are connected via the LAN (Local Area Network), IP addresses of the respective medical treatment-related apparatuses are made to be automatically transmitted to the management server 10. Appearance image data of the respective medical treatment-related apparatuses are made to be transmitted to the management server 10 while updating the appearance image data. The management server 10 transmits a series of the appearance image data according to a request from the HIS 20 that is a client, and when the medical treatment-related apparatus that is a connection target is determined in the HIS 20, the management server 10 makes connection information such as the IP address and an empty port number of the selected medical treatment-related apparatus be transmitted to the HIS 20 through the management server 10. The HIS 20 directly communicates with the medical treatment-related apparatus by use of the received connection information.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】事前の設定作業をすることなく、ネットワークを通じて医療関連機器同士を相互通信させる。【解決手段】管理サーバ10と、HIS20、PACS30、内視鏡装置60などの医療関連機器とをLAN接続させたネットワーク管理システムにおいて、各医療関連機器のIPアドレスを自動的に管理サーバ10へ送信させる。また、各医療関連機器の外観画像データを、更新しながら管理サーバ10へ送信させる。そして、管理サーバ10は、クライアントであるHIS20からの要求に応じて一連の外観画像データを送信し、HIS20において接続対象となる医療関連機器が決定されると、選択された医療関連機器の空きポート番号およびIPアドレスなどの接続情報を、管理サーバ10を通じてHIS20へ送信させる。HIS20は、受信した接続情報を用いて医療関連機器と直接通信を行う。【選択図】図1
