PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for revitalizing a pine tree weakened by pine weevils and the like into a sound pine tree without hurting the same.SOLUTION: The pine withering inhibitor and improver is obtained by: mixing 100 l of water with 10 kg of rice bran, 0.5 l of cow dung, 1 kg of poultry manure, 1 kg of rape seed oil cake, 1 kg of oyster shell, 1 l of fine coal, 1 kg of fossil seashell; mixing the mixture further with 1 kg of stevia and 1 l of a useful microorganism group (photosynthetic bacterium, yeast, lactic acid bacterium, mold fungus, and Streptomyces); and fermenting the mixture. The method for inhibiting pine withering aims to revitalize trees by a process comprising: burying fertile soil, which is obtained by mixing the pine withering inhibitor and improver further with chips of leaves, barks, stems, and flowers of an andromeda, a hydrangea, and an oleander, and soil, into an annular groove dug around weakened tree roots; spraying a liquid fertilizer; and thereafter covering the groove with soil generated when digging the annular groove.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
