PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assist device in lying/rising for bedding for assisting a user lying on the bedding in easily rising or lying by himself/herself.
SOLUTION: The assist device includes a support part 3, an attaching part 4 and a comforter holder member 5. The comforter holder member 5 includes a plurality of comforter suspenders 5b and a hand-rest 5c in a body 5a. A comforter 1b of the bedding 1 is suspended and held by the plurality of comforter suspenders 5b so that the comforter does not directly touch the user lying on the bedding. The user can raise or lay the upper half body by gripping the hand-rest 5c by hand.
