PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure and enable the whole saw to be compactly stored by connecting a fitting metal part with a saw blade body base part pivotally supported to the tip of a tip long shank pipe and at the same time, forming a longitudinal groove for storing a saw blade body into the tip long shank pipe when the saw blade body is rotated, on the tip peripheral face of the tip long shank pipe. SOLUTION: The saw for high branch can be used for sawing a high branch by attaching a saw blade body 3 and when the saw is used, the saw blade body 3 is rotated in the extension direction of the long shank pipe 21 and a lock 222 is engaged with a locking recessed part 11 to set the saw blade body 3 in a fixed state. Further the tip long shank pipe 21 is pulled out of a base long shank pipe 11 by a required length and the tip long shank pipe 21 is fixed by clamping a threaded damping cylinder 133 of a fitting mechanism 13. During storing, the tip long shank pipe 21 is stored into the base long shank pipe 21 and a stopper part 212 clamps the threaded cylinder 133 in such a state that the stopper part 212 collides with the threaded cylinder 133 and in turn, the tip long shank pipe 21 is fixed. In addition, the lock 222 is disengaged to rotate the saw blade body 3, which is, in turn, stored into the long shank pipe 21 through a longitudinal groove 211.
