A personal wearable EEG monitor comprises a base part having signalprocessing means, and an electrode part with at least two electrodes formeasuring an EEGsignal of a person. The electrode part comprises means for converting the EEGsignal into adigital signal. The EEG monitor comprises a databus for transferring databetween the basepart and the electrode part and for providing power from one part to theother. The databus isadapted for application of two electrical wires. The invention furtherprovides a method forcommunicating between two parts of an EEG monitor.
