Agent (I), for treating microorganisms, comprises a mixture of fatty acid ester of polyol and the salts of short-chained monocarbonic acid. ACTIVITY : Antimicrobial； Antibacterial； Fungicide； Virucide； Antiseborrheic； Dermatological. The ability of (I) treat against microorganisms was tested against Malassezia furfur using biological assays. The results showed that the count of the microorganism was less than 10/ml after 24 hours of treatment. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
