PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutter in which outside air for cooling an electric motor within a front end housing can be introduced without providing an outside air introduction port in the front end housing.SOLUTION: A bush cutter 10 includes: a hollow support rod 11 of which the front end is open and a cutter unit 30 which is provided in a front end portion of the support rod 11. The cutter unit 30 includes: a front end housing 31 which is fixed to the front end portion of the support rod 11 an electric motor 32 housed within the front end housing 31 a cooling fan 33 housed within the front end housing 31 and rotated with the electric motor 32 and a rotary blade 36 mounted to a rotary shaft 34 which is supported with the front end housing 31 in a rotatable manner.
