PURPOSE: A spring onion skin peeling machine is provided to reduce energy consumption by effectively using compressed air with small number of injection nozzles.CONSTITUTION: A spring onion transfer apparatus(10) includes a conveyor belt(12) equipped for transferring spring onions in the horizontal direction. A compressed air injection device(30) includes multiple injection nozzles(32) equipped on the upper part of the conveyor belt in order to spray the compressed air toward spring onions. A spring onion pressing device(60, 70) includes pressure rods(61), a chain, and a chain rotating tool. A pressure rod fixes the root part of the spring onions with pressure in order to prevent the spring onions from shaking by the compressed air or from breaking away from the conveyor belt. The chain is equipped with multiple pressure rods with a certain gap. The chain rotating tool rotates the chain at the same speed to the conveyor belt. The conveyer belt has the width capable of putting the spring onions in the orthogonal direction to their progressive direction. A skin collecting apparatus(50) comprises a slope plate equipped on the side of the conveyor belt, and a collecting can(52) equipped in the bottom of the slope plate.
