The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition, a functional health food, and a feed composition, for innate immune-boosting and antiviral purposes, containing a Chelidonium majus L. extract as an active ingredient. The present invention further relates to a method for boosting innate immunity and increasing antiviral activities in animals, including a step of injecting the Chelidonium majus L. extract into animals requiring enhancement of innate immunity, not including human.
