A dispenser is provided for supplying a metered volume of liquid medicament to the aerosolization apparatus. The dispenser may include a container having a proximal end and a distal end, the container configured to store a predetermined volume of the liquid medicament. The dispenser may also include a dispensing mechanism coupled to the distal end of the container. The dispensing mechanism may have a distal end that terminates as a distal end through which the liquid medicament is dispensed. The dispensing mechanism dispenses metered volume of liquid medicament from the distal end each time it is actuated.
