A capsule for two or more components of material that are to be mixedtogether comprises a cartridge having an outlet, a first component chamber forcontaining a first component and a second component chamber for containing asecond component. The two component chambers open into the outlet. The capsuleincludes first and second pistons which lie with their rear ends outside thecomponentchambers and when pushed forwards press the two components out of theircomponent chambers. The cartridge has an interior with a stepped diameter, afrontarea of the interior being wider than a rear area of the interior. Thecomponentchambers are arranged in the front area and the capsule is adapted for usewith anapplicator having a plunger for advancing the pistons to dispense thematerial.
