The present invention relates to a medical catheterfor use by humans or animals. The catheter is completely filled and consists of an outertube filled with the required components (wires, flexible printed circuit board, sensors) and a filler material that takes up the rest of the space. The sensors are completely encapsulated and the entire length of the catheteror catheter section is the same all over and there are no specific sensor "windows". The catheter includes sensor for temperature or pressure, mounted on flexible printed circuit boards and connected via electrical wires or flexible printed circuit boards to receiving electronics.
