PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a medical instrument wherein a small foreign object can not be collected.SOLUTION: A medical instrument to collect an object to be collected inside a human body includes a film which is housed in a folded state in a sheath and which is extruded from the sheet to collect the object to be collected in an unfolded state. The medical instrument may further includes a shape adjusting part to fold or unfold the film outside the sheath. The film in the unfolded state may constitute at least part of a bag-shaped or umbrella-shaped member with an open end and a closed end.
