An Injection device (1) for administering a dose of a liquid medicament (M) to a patient comprises- a syringe (3) containing the dose of the medicament (M)- a hollow injection needle (4) adapted to penetrate the skin of the patient,- a stopper (6) translatably disposed within the syringe (3),- a plunger (9) connectable to the stopper (4) and translatable in at least a proximal direction (P) to displace the stopper (4) in the proximal direction (P) and- a releasable noise component (28) capable of, upon release, generating an audibleand/or tactile feedback.The proximal displacement of the stopper (4) causes the dose of the medicament (M) to be expelled through the hollow injection needle (4). The noise component (28) is released when the plunger (9) reaches a position relative to the syringe (3) in which the stopper (4) is located in proximity of a proximal end of the syringe (3). The released noise component (28) impacts on at least one component of the injection device (1) to generate the audible and/or tactile feedback indicating the end of the injection.
