Gegenstand der Anmeldung ist eine Blutpumpe mit einem Gehäuse und einem in dem Gehäuse angeordneten Rotor. Der Rotor ist dabei spindelförmig ausgebildet. Ferner folgt das Gehäuse zumindest in Teilen der spindelförmigen Aufweitung des Rotors.
