The invention relates to a system for detecting an endourethral device for a urinary artificial sphincter that is implantable in the body of a patient, said sphincter including an occlusive sleeve (2) suitable for compressing the urethra, the neck of the urinary bladder or the prostate of said patient, a device (5) for actuating said sleeve (2) and a control unit (6) suitable for controlling the actuation device. Said system includes at least one sensor (13) of the compression of the urethra and a posture sensor (9), and a processing unit (30) configured to determine: (i) whether the parameter of compression of the urethra exceeds a predetermined threshold during a predetermined duration, and (ii) whether the patient is in a recumbent position. If conditions (i) and (ii) are met, the treatment unit transmits, to the actuation device (5), a command for the immediate reduction of the compression applied by the sleeve (2).Linvention concerne un système de détection dun dispositif endo-urétral pour un sphincter urinaire artificiel implantable dans le corps dun patient, ledit sphincter comprenant une manchette occlusive (2) adaptée pour comprimer lurètre, le col vésical ou la prostate dudit patient, un dispositif dactionnement (5) de ladite manchette (2) et une unité de commande (6) adaptée pour commander le dispositif dactionnement. Ledit système comprend au moins un capteur (13) de compression de lurètre et un capteur (9) de posture, et une unité de traitement (30) configurée pour déterminer : (i) si le paramètre de compression de lurètre dépasse un seuil prédéterminé pendant une durée prédéterminée, (ii) si le patient est dans une position allongée. Si les conditions (i) et (ii) sont remplies, lunité de traitement émet, à destination du dispositif dactionnement (5), un ordre de réduction immédiate de la compression exercée par la manchette (2).
