To achieve structure simplification, expansion of a range which can attract insects and improve handleability of a recovered insect trapping sheet.
SOLUTION: An insect trap 10 is configured by including an attraction means 12 which attracts insects and an insect trapping sheet 11 which is drawn out to the vicinity of the attraction means 12, and a holding means 13 which holds the insect trapping sheet 11 so that it can be drawn out. The insect trapping sheet 11 includes a belt-shaped substrate sheet 11A, an adhesive layer 11B which is laminated ON one surface of the substrate sheet 11A and a release sheet 11C which is temporarily stuck by the adhesive layer 11B. The holding means 13 includes a supporting means 25 which supports the insect trapping sheet 11, and a recovery means 27 which has a single winding shaft 37 installed so that it can wind a separated release sheet 11C and a used substrate sheet 11A. At lease one of the supporting means 25 and the recovery means 27 includes a reverse movement regulating means for regulating the proceeding reverse to the drawing out direction.
