PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adjusting an intra-tissue irradiation cauterizaion area using a microwave field-detecting needle assembly.SOLUTION: The method includes the initial steps of preparing an energy irradiator 12 and preparing one or more microwave field-detecting needle assemblies 100. Each microwave field-detecting needle assembly includes one or more rectifier elements capable of detecting microwave field intensity via rectification.
