<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition having a new action mechanism to suppress the infiltration and metastasis of cancer cell, concretely, a new-type agent for inhibiting the infiltration and metastasis of cancer, developed by clarifying a new action of MMP-1 and emmprin participating in the infiltration and metastasis of cancer cell and using the molecules as targets. <；P>；SOLUTION: The invention provides an oligopeptide and its derivative capable of inhibiting the infiltration and metastasis of cancer cell by the inhibition of the binding of an emmprin molecule expressed on the surface of a cancer cell with a matrix metalloprotease MMP-1 to perform the decomposition of extracellular matrix. The oligopeptide contains an oligopeptide expressed by sequence number 3 corresponding to the 262nd to 277th amino acids constituting the hinge region of MMP-1, its fragment, analog and homolog.
