The present invention provides a bioelectrode composition capable of forming a bio-contact layer for a bioelectrode that the bioelectrode composition has excellent conductivity and biocompatibility, the bioelectrode composition is lightweight, the bioelectrode composition can be manufactured at low cost, and conductivity is not significantly declined even when the bioelectrode composition get wet with water or dried. The bioelectrode composition contains: (A) ionic material； and (B) a resin other than the component (A).
