A hip prosthesis (100) comprising: a stem (1) intended to be inserted in the neck (60) of the femur (6), a prosthetic head (4) shaped as a substantially hemispherical cup, intended to be inserted in the acetabular seat (8), a distal prosthetic component (2) connected to the stem (1) and shaped as a substantially hemispherical cup with concavity towards the concavity of said prosthetic head (4), and a ball (3) disposed between the distal prosthetic component (2) and the prosthetic head (4) in such manner to generate a ball coupling, wherein said prosthetic head (4) comprises a flattened pole (45) that defines an external central flat planar surface in order to adjust to various shapes of the acetabular seat (8), grooves (R) externally obtained to be coupled with the acetabular seat (8) and holes (46) to receive screws (7) that are screwed into the acetabular seat.
