Inhibitors of protein phosphatase-1 (PP-1 ) and their use in a method for the treatment or prevention of viral infections caused by HIV or ebola virus are disclosed. Inhibitors of protein phosphatase-l in effective amounts have been shown to slow down viral replication upon contacting ebola virus or cells containing the ebola virus.Linvention concerne des inhibiteurs de la protéine phosphatase-1 (PP-1) et leur utilisation dans une méthode de traitement ou de prévention dinfections virales provoquées par le VIH ou le virus Ebola.
