According to the present invention, when the harvested ginseng is steamed to prepare red ginseng, the ginseng is immersed and steamed in a gold solution in order to neutralize the heavy metals and agricultural chemicals remaining in the ginseng. Therefore, the method of the present invention can add a medical reaction of gold while neutralizing the remaining heavy metals and agricultural chemicals, thereby improving the ginseng efficacy.
