PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compacting roller that is capable of preventing adhesion of soil.SOLUTION: A cylindrical elastic tube 1 is covered without bonding throughout an outer circumferential surface of a compacting roller unit 2, and thereby the outer circumferential surface of the compacting roller unit 2 is covered with the cylindrical elastic tube 1. Outer circumferential positions of both ends of the cylindrical elastic tube 1 are fastened by a band 7, 7, and thereby the cylindrical elastic tube 1 and the compacting roller unit 2 are fastened and fixed at both ends to constitute a compacting roller 1. The adhesion of the soil to the surface of the compacting roller 1 is prevented by the telescopic movement in a surface direction of an outer surface of the cylindrical elastic tube 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
