An apparatus and a method for replacing joint joints by implant prosthesis are disclosed. This method involves loosening the knee, placing pre-injured joint lines of the knee, and referencing the incisions to the femur and tibia in a coronal plane relative to the joint line. The method further comprises determining a posterior tilt of the incision relative to the tibia of the coronal plane so that gaps between the elongated portion and the flexed tibia and femur are substantially even.
