PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling raising pot having excellent raising seedling performance similar to that of a polyethylene pot during a period of raising seedling, and allowing a user to dispose of the used seedling raising pot without worrying about environmental pollution after finishing raising seedling operation, unlike the case of a polyethylene pot. SOLUTION: This seedling raising pot is such as to have no top-curl portion, and to be obtained by using a lamination layer sheet where a waterproof thermoplastic synthetic resin layer is arranged on a paper base material containing >=20 wt.% of mechanical pulp and also having cross-sectional permeation of 0-0.5 mm so that the outer surface of the lamination layer sheet comprises the paper base material and the inner face thereof comprises the thermoplastic synthetic resin layer.
