A canola plant containing canola germplasm according to claim 1.4. The canola plant according to claim 3, wherein the canola plant produces seeds having, on average, a crude protein content of at least about 45% and an acid detergent fiber content of not more than about 18% as determined based on an oil-free dry mass. 5. A canola plant according to claim 3, wherein the canola plant produces seeds having, on average, less than 2% erucic acid. A canola plant according to claim 3, further comprising at least one additional feature selected from the group consisting of a reduced content of polyphenolic compounds and an increased content of phosphorus.
