Further disclosed is a DNA detection kit when used for detecting AAD-1 corn event DAS-40278-9 in a sample comprising corn DNA, wherein said kit comprises: (a) an isolated polynucleotide comprising a nucleotide sequence selected from SEQ ID NO: 1-28 and 30-33； (b) an isolated polynucleotide that hybridizes under stringent wash conditions with a nucleotide sequence consisting of residues 1863 to 1875 or residues 6679 to 6700 of SEQ ID NO: 29； or (c) an isolated polynucleotide according to (b) wherein said polynucleotide is an amplicon generated by polymerase chain reaction.
