PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which is usable for carrying medication in pill form as well as a consumable fluid, provides a single-dose of the medication, and is disposable.SOLUTION: A self-contained medication apparatus 10 includes a first container having a first semi-spherical portion 18, and a second container 14 having a second semi-spherical portion 20 and a cylindrical portion 16 formed with the second semi-spherical portion 20. At least one type of medication 50 is disposed within the first container, such as one or more pills, and a consumable liquid is disposed within the second container 14. The first container is pivotally connected to the second container 14 by a hinge member 22 between an open position and a closed position. A first seal 38 is connected to the first semi-spherical portion 18 of the first container, and a second seal 40 is connected to the cylindrical portion 16 of the second container 14.
