PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging apparatus and a program which allow an operator to recognize a degree of reduction in an exposure dose when ROI imaging is executed in comparison to a case where normal X-ray imaging is executed.SOLUTION: A ROI (Region Of Interest) setting operation part 12 sets a region of interest on a light reception surface of a detection part 5. An imaging control part 9 performs wide-area imaging not restricting an X-ray irradiation range to the region of interest and partial imaging restricting the X-ray irradiation range to the region of interest with an X-ray diaphragm 1-3. An exposure reduction rate calculation part 20 calculates the increase rate of the X-ray irradiation amount increased due to automatic light exposure control at the time of partial imaging on the basis of comparison between the light exposure amount of the region of interest and a prescribed threshold.
