PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter assembly for selectively interconnecting a surgical end effector and a surgical device.SOLUTION: The adapter assembly includes: a housing； an outer tube； at least one drive converter assembly for interconnecting a respective one of at least one rotatable drive shaft of the surgical device and one of at least one axially translatable drive member of the end effector, the at least one drive converter assembly converting and transmitting a rotation of a first rotatable drive shaft of the surgical device to an axial translation of a first axially translatable drive member of the end effector； a drive shaft； a drive coupling nut threadably connected to the distal end portion of the drive shaft； and an axially translatable drive bar connected to the drive coupling nut.
