PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine whether or not each signal is effective in a blood pressure estimation device for estimating blood pressure according to a pulse wave signal and an electrocardiographic signal.SOLUTION: A blood pressure estimation device 1 includes an effectiveness determination part (an electrocardiographic signal analysis part 14, a pulse wave signal analysis part 15, and an electrocardiographic and pulse wave signal analysis part 16) for determining whether or not effective conditions are met about a determination object signal selected from an electrocardiographic signal and a pulse wave signal, and a blood pressure estimation part (the electrocardiographic signal analysis part 14, the pulse wave signal analysis part 15, the electrocardiographic and pulse wave signal analysis part 16, and a blood pressure calculation part 17) for estimating blood pressure when the determination object signal meets the effective conditions.
