Preparation for use in the prevention and/or treatment of dementia syndromes, comprising the following fractions: a) long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids comprising at least one of the É-3 fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid； b) phospholipids, which fraction contains at least two different phospholipids, selected from the group consisting of phosphatidyl serine, phosphatidylinositol, phosphatidyl choline and phosphatidylethanolamine； c) compounds which are a factor in methionine metabolism, which fraction contains at least folic acid.
