The present invention relates to a novel use of protein phosphatase inhibitor 2 in promoting differentiation of neural stem cells. More specifically, the protein phosphatase inhibitor 2 can be used as a promoting composition in neural differentiation by showing effect in which the protein phosphatase inhibitor 2 promotes differentiation of neural stem cells into nerve cells. Furthermore, the present invention will establish practical efficacy in treatment related to brain damage.본 발명은 신경줄기세포 분화 촉진과 관련한 프로테인 포스파타아제 저해제 2의 신규 용도에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 포스파타아제 저해제 2가 신경줄기세포로부터 신경세포로의 분화를 촉진하는 효과를 확인함으로써 신경분화로의 촉진용 조성물로 사용될 수 있으며, 나아가 뇌 손상 등의 치료에 실질적인 효과를 도출할 수 있다.
