PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel antibody capable of binding to CD26 and a medicament using the antibody.SOLUTION: There are provided antibodies for use in treating and/or preventing graft-versus-host disease (GvHD), for use in treating and/or preventing aplastic anemia, for use in promoting engraftment after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. There is also provided an isolated antibody comprising a heavy chain variable region and a light chain variable region, and capable of specifically binding to CD26. Here, the heavy chain variable region comprises the sequence WTVVGPGYFDV, and/or the light chain variable region comprises the sequence QQRSSYPNT and/or GQGYSYPYT.
