According to the present invention, a funeral coffin for a companion animal comprises: a coffin forming appearance in a hexahedron shape, wherein each side thereof is covered； a comfort mounting part inserted and mounted in the coffin, on which the dead body of the companion animal is laid； and a sheet to cover the comfort mounting part to prevent the dead body of the companion animal from being seen. The comfort mounting part includes: a tray unit having a structure of moving by lifting both sides thereof, wherein the interior thereof is grooved； and a cushion unit filled in the tray unit and made of a cushioning material, on which the dead body of the companion animal is placed to be seated. The coffin has a structure of storing the comfort mounting part by lifting a left and a right side or a front and a rear side upwards to open one side. One or two upper handles are formed on an upper portion of the coffin to be lifted by a person. The cushion unit is made of pulp paper or a cloth made of natural fiber. A laying groove of an animal shape or a prescribed shape is formed on the cushion unit to allow the dead body of the companion animal to be laid thereon to prevent a laid position from being changed. The tray unit includes: a tray body whose interior has a prescribed depth to allow the cushion unit to be filled therein； and a handle unit formed on both longitudinal ends to protrude to move the comfort mounting part by lifting both sides thereof.
