PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter capable of surely leveling a field surface without damaging a leveling device.SOLUTION: A seedling transplanter 1 comprises: a seedling planting section 30 that is mounted to the back of a traveling car body 2 and plants seedling a leveling device 5 that is provided below the seedling planting section 30 and levels a field and a leveling device supporting mechanism 6 that supports the leveling device 5. A lower frame 39 is attached to a planting frame 35 of the seedling planting section 30. The leveling device supporting mechanism 6 comprises: a horizontality maintaining mechanism 63 that maintains an antero-posterior attitude of the traveling car body 2 of the leveling device 5 horizontally and an evacuation mechanism 72 that evacuates the horizontality maintaining mechanism 63 backward when a load toward the back of the traveling car body 2 works on the horizontality maintaining mechanism 63, and then rotationally moves the leveling device 5 upward.
