In a first aspect, a method is provided for operating an aerosolinhalation device, comprising the steps of transporting acertain amount of an aerosol to a desired location outside thedevice and vibrating the transported aerosol when it has reachedthe desired location. In a second aspect, an aerosol inhalationdevice is provided comprising a pump for flowing a certainamount of an aerosol to a desired location outside the device, avibrator for vibrating the transported aerosol in a vibrationmode and a control configured to actuate the vibrator forvibrating the flowed aerosol only when it has reached thedesired location.
