An independent claim is included for coating biocompatible nano and microparticles with the stabilizer comprising dissolving a biocompatible polymer or a lipid and an active ingredient in a solvent to form an organic phase, emulsifying the organic phase in an aqueous phase containing the stabilizer, mixing the organic phase with the aqueous phase, removing the solvent and obtaining the particles in suspension.
