The invention provides methods and compositions useful for ameliorating age related maladies, enhancing and maintaining immune function, enhancing and maintaining cognitive function, enhancing and maintaining muscle strength, enhancing and maintaining balance, and reducing and mitigating oxidative stress in an animal.
