The present invention relates to Alchemilla vulgaris for use in oral health applications, an oral composition comprising Alchemilla vulgaris, and the use of Alchemilla vulgaris or the composition, in the improvement or maintenance of oral health in an animal, preferably through the reduction or control of dental plaque and/or alteration of the bacterial content of dental plaque, in the oral cavity of the animal.
