The present invention relates to plants, have the increased number of flower, gondola and increased mass of 1000 kernel (TSW). The present invention relates to canola plants more specifically, and wherein the expression of cytokinin oxidase 5 or cytokinin oxidase 5 and 3 is functionally reduced. The canola plants including mutant CKX allele are provided, wherein the reduced canola plants of the expression of CKX. Method and apparatus are additionally provided to produce canola plants with the increased number of flower, gondola or TSW.
