A method and apparatus for combining a three-dimensional (3D) model with a plurality of two-dimensional (2D) images by adjusting degrees of transparency of the plurality of 2D images. The method includes: obtaining a plurality of 2D images； arranging the plurality of 2D images in a 3D space based on predetermined criteria； obtaining spatial coordinates of each of the plurality of 2D images arranged in the 3D space； generating a 3D model of the plurality of 2D images arranged in the 3D space based on the spatial coordinates； changing attribute information of the plurality of 2D images arranged in the 3D space； and displaying the 3D model and the plurality of 2D images whose attribute information is changed.복수의 2차원 영상들의 투명도를 조절하여 3차원 모델과 복수의 2차원 영상들을 함께 나타내기 위한 방법 및 장치가 제공된다. 본 방법은, 복수의 2차원(2D) 영상들과 3차원(3D) 모델의 합성을 위한 방법은 복수의 2D 영상들을 획득하고, 획득된 복수의 2D 영상들을 소정의 기준에 따라 3D 공간상에 배치하며, 3D 공간상에 배치된 복수의 2D 영상들 각각에 대하여 공간 좌표를 획득할 수 있다. 또한, 본 방법은 획득된 공간 좌표에 기초하여 3D 공간상에 배치된 복수의 2D 영상들의 3D 모델을 생성하고, 3D 공간상에 배치된 복수의 2D 영상들의 속성 정보를 변경하며, 그리고 속성 정보가 변경된 복수의 2D 영상들과 상기 3D 모델을 디스플레이할 수 있다.
