In the present invention, there is disclosed a compressed tablet composition comprising a granular component comprising a plurality of solidified melt granules of a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicament having a melting point in the range 30 to 300 degC and incorporating a disintegrant uniformly dispersed therein, whereas the granules comprise a continuous phase of said non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicament, that can be gained by mixing the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicament in completely melted form with the disintegrant, and further in that the tablet composition comprises silicon dioxide present in an amount of 0.05 to 5 percent by weight of the composition. This composition has advantageous processing properties and dissolving characteristics. Furthermore there is described a method for preparation of such a composition, during which a) is said medicament mixed in completely melted condition with the disintegrant, resulting in development of homogeneous mixture； b) said mixture is cooled, and that results in forming a solidified melt； c) said solidified melt is shaped to granules； d) said granules are compressed, optionally with an extragranular component, thus forming the compressed tablet composition.Sammenpresset tablettpreparat omfattende: en granulær komponent omfattende en rekke stivnede smeltegranuler av et ikke-steroid antiinflammatorisk medikament (NSAID) som har et smeltepunkt i området 30-300°C og omfatter et desintegreringsmiddel dispergert jevnt deri； karakterisert ved at granulene omfatter en kontinuerlig fase av nevnte ikkesteroide antiinflammatoriske middel og videre karakterisert ved at tablettpreparatet omfatter silisiumdioksyd til stede i en mengde på 0,05-5,0% etter vekt av preparatet.
